Responsibilities
- Cradle-to-grave project ownership including design reviews and equipment procurement.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to understand and challenge requirements.
- Provide engineering support for the design and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with electricians and utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs with applicable codes and regulations.
- Confirm equipment compatibility with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct code reviews and analysis based on various electrical codes and standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and generators.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Familiarity with controls in MODBUS and/or Profinet communication.
- Knowledge of medium voltage distribution and control panel design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
