Sr. Electrical Engineer, High Power (Launch)

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will provide engineering support for the design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems at SpaceX, focusing on high-power installations for launch operations.

• Provide detailed electrical design and specification for various electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and systems.
• Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
• Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with facility power budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utility personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Provide code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with power distribution systems and switchgear.
• Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
• Experience with variable frequency drives and industrial pumps.
• Previous experience as an electrician.
• Knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
