Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for various electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical designs with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utility personnel.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs with applicable codes and regulations.
- Provide code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience with power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and industrial pumps.
- Knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to pass Air Force background check and work in extreme environments.
