Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for various electrical systems and components.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local electrical utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code review and analysis utilizing relevant standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with power distribution systems and generators.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to pass an Air Force background check and work in extreme environments.
