Responsibilities
- Detect and triage emerging anomalies on satellite bus and payload hardware.
- Drive continual improvements to the constellation by building and using tools for data analysis.
- Write automation software in Python for satellite operations systems.
- Develop operational processes for new satellite versions and performance targets.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to enhance network connectivity.
- Challenge assumptions and find solutions to complex problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or related STEM field.
- 1+ years of professional experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and/or bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of programming languages and debugging complex systems.
- Familiarity with hardware reliability and environmental testing.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
- Ability to work on an “on-call” basis on a rotational schedule.
