Responsibilities
- Responsible technical owner for Raptor chamber and nozzle hardware, including piece parts and assembly.
- Collaborate with technicians and manufacturing engineers to enhance production processes.
- Interface with teams for engine testing and conduct inspections and data reviews.
- Review designs and analyses for chamber and nozzle hardware.
- Manage anomaly investigations and risk tickets ahead of flight operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to release upgrades for improved performance.
- Participate in system and vehicle level trades for engine hardware changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
- System level understanding of liquid rocket propulsion.
- Knowledge of thermal structural analysis and mechanical systems.
- Experience with manufacturing methods and CAD software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility in working hours to support testing and manufacturing schedules.
