Responsibilities

  • Responsible technical owner for Raptor chamber and nozzle hardware, including piece parts and assembly.
  • Collaborate with technicians and manufacturing engineers to enhance production processes.
  • Interface with teams for engine testing and conduct inspections and data reviews.
  • Review designs and analyses for chamber and nozzle hardware.
  • Manage anomaly investigations and risk tickets ahead of flight operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to release upgrades for improved performance.
  • Participate in system and vehicle level trades for engine hardware changes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
  • System level understanding of liquid rocket propulsion.
  • Knowledge of thermal structural analysis and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing methods and CAD software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours to support testing and manufacturing schedules.
