Responsibilities
- Drive and identify projects to enhance printer platform robustness and repeatability.
- Collaborate with a team to design, develop, and test additive processes using various approaches.
- Implement process improvements throughout the additive manufacturing process.
- Work with the design team to optimize features for additive manufacturing.
- Generate and optimize build files for high-quality part production.
- Investigate material properties and develop optimal print parameters.
- Develop systems for efficient data collection and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
- Master’s degree in aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Experience with additive machines and parameter development.
- Knowledge of aerospace design and test specifications.
- Familiarity with engineering materials properties and processing attributes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
