Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for design and analysis of power components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for assemblies.
- Participate in mechanical design and creation of production drawings.
- Perform failure analysis of components under various conditions.
- Interface with machine shops and production teams for design production.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines and success through all phases.
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and design principles.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical design and prototyping.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
