Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for the design and qualification of electromechanical components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis using hand calculations and finite element analysis.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawing creation.
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal, loads, vibration, and shock.
- Collaborate with machine shops and production teams to ensure designs meet project goals.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines through design, assembly, test, and integration.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical design and testing.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of power component design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
