Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for electromechanical component design and analysis.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for assemblies.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawing creation.
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal loads and vibration.
- Collaborate with machine shops and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines and oversee the project lifecycle.
- Engage in internal design reviews and discussions with suppliers and customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or a similar field.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and electromechanical design.
- Proficiency in hand calculations, FEA, and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals (e.g., motors, batteries).
- Experience with high volume production designs focusing on manufacturability.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
