Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for the design and analysis of electromechanical components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawings.
- Perform failure analysis of components regarding thermal, loads, vibration, and shock.
- Interface with production teams to ensure designs meet project goals.
- Own hardware delivery timelines through design, assembly, testing, and integration.
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers/customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar.
- Experience in mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in electromechanical design.
- Proficient in hand calculations, finite element analyses (FEA), and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals (e.g., motors, inverters, batteries).
- Experience with high volume production designs focusing on manufacturability.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
