Responsibilities
- Design and develop next-generation launch vehicles, launch pads, and production lines.
- Perform hand calculations and FEA to optimize designs.
- Iterate on manufacturing processes and development testing in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integration.
- Own large business outcomes and contribute to the rapid growth of the project.
- Engage in building high-performance flight hardware and a reliable launch system.
- Experience the transition from hardware building to actual rocket flights.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of mechanical and/or fluids engineering experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in competitive environments and demonstrated resilience.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
- Willingness to relocate to the Starbase launch site in Brownsville, TX.
