Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions.
- Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems for quality problems.
- Interface with vehicle engineering to align on inspection requirements and capabilities.
- Prototype early inspection development and validate to reduce technology risks.
- Support nondestructive automation initiatives and manufacturing goals.
- Develop technology in emerging nondestructive methodologies.
- Present risk/performance analysis and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science.
- 1+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of various NDE techniques (e.g., ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing).
- Understanding of hardware and software development and validation processes.
- Experience with software and automation coding (e.g., Labview, Python, C#).
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools and techniques (e.g., Practical Problem Solving, 8D).
