Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Review and solve issues related to assigned parts, implementing necessary changes.
- Create and manage issue tickets, collaborating with engineering teams for resolution.
- Become familiar with assigned parts and processes, addressing supply chain defects.
- Work with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Drive the production part approval process (PPAP) to ensure stable supply and improve delivery times.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Experience with machining operations such as milling and turning.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality processes.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality systems.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Ability to travel up to 60-85% of the work week.
