Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts and solve manufacturing challenges.
- Review and resolve issues on assigned parts, implementing changes as necessary.
- Create and manage issue tickets, coordinating with engineering teams for resolution.
- Familiarize with assigned parts and processes, addressing supply chain defects.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Manage the new product introduction (NPI) process and drive production part approval processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with manufacturing or inspection of mechanical products.
- Familiarity with machining operations such as milling and turning.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and models.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours as needed.
