Responsibilities
- Design packaging solutions for electro-mechanical assemblies
- Conduct thermal, structural, and tolerance analysis for assemblies
- Participate in initial mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawings
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal, loads, vibration, and shock
- Interface with machine shops and production teams for design production
- Manage hardware delivery timeline through design, assembly, test, and integration
- Lead design reviews and participate in supplier and customer reviews
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design and analysis
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Understanding of structural analysis and failure modes
- Experience with fatigue and thermal testing of assemblies
- Knowledge of GD&T and PCB design collaboration
