Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom production equipment for the Raptor engine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet production targets.
- Solve complex problems with a focus on efficiency and speed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Set and maintain schedules and budgets for design projects.
- Travel to other SpaceX locations as necessary.
- Engage in various physical tasks as required by the position.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering projects.
- Master’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering preferred.
- Experience with CAD software and PLM/PDM software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and custom machine design.
- Familiarity with robotic weld applications and manufacturing process development.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
