Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of custom production equipment for the Raptor engine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and production personnel to advance production facilities.
- Solve complex problems with a focus on speed and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Set and maintain schedules and budgets for design projects.
- Ensure compliance with drafting standards and GD&T in creating drawings.
- Travel to other SpaceX locations as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering projects.
- Experience with CAD software and PLM/PDM software.
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and custom machine design.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and robotic applications.
- Experience in structural analysis and creating mass-efficient structures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
