Responsibilities
- Design and develop structures, mechanisms, and automation equipment for high-volume production of Starlink Satellites.
- Manage projects from concept generation through fabrication and production.
- Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with flight design and production teams on satellite and production processes.
- Solve complex problems with a focus on execution speed and efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Assemble and commission designed equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in designing mechanical systems using CAD software.
- Experience with structural design and analysis.
- Familiarity with custom machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Strong design for manufacturability and assembly skills.
- Experience with finite element analysis tools.
- Must be available for extended hours and weekends as needed.
