Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, develop, and ensure flight readiness of valves, regulators, and actuators.
- Support and document component anomalies at build, test, or launch sites.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on investigations.
- Generate detailed drawings and coordinate valve manufacturing.
- Maintain component specifications.
- Develop and execute qualification test plans.
- Spearhead root cause investigations and redesigns for reliability improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in designing and analyzing mechanical systems.
- Preferred: Master's degree or additional professional experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Understanding of fluid systems and solid mechanics.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Hands-on experience with fluid and gas handling systems.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices and control components.
