Responsibilities
- Full ownership of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and/or fluid systems for Falcon launch vehicles.
- Utilize hand calculations, FEA, and CAD to ensure hardware meets requirements.
- Lead design reviews and hardware qualifications.
- Serve as a technical interface with suppliers and customers.
- Manage hardware delivery timeline from inception to launch and re-use.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software (professional, academic, or hobby).
- Hands-on hardware experience in fabrication, assembly, or testing.
- Preferred: Master's degree in engineering.
- Preferred: Experience with NX/Teamcenter and commercial FEA packages.
- Preferred: Analytical/scientific programming experience (Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Willingness to work longer hours and travel for hardware tests and launches.
