Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between avionics engineering, supply chain, and production.
- Support part production and manufacturing/test process development.
- Evaluate electrical schematics and manufacturing process flow.
- Drive design updates in response to manufacturing issues.
- Lead cost reduction efforts while maintaining quality.
- Participate in design reviews focusing on manufacturability and testability.
- Prepare necessary engineering documentation for production transition.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical components or systems.
- 3+ years of experience in design/production of hardware systems preferred.
- Experience with design for manufacture and design for test.
- Proficiency in analyzing circuits and developing functional test plans.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical hardware failures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
