Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between engineering, supply chain, and production to meet rate objectives.
- Support part production and manufacturing/test process development.
- Evaluate electrical schematics and manufacturing processes to improve test coverage.
- Drive design updates in response to manufacturing issues and changes.
- Lead cost reduction efforts while maintaining quality standards.
- Contribute to design reviews focusing on manufacturability and testability.
- Prepare engineering documentation for the transition from development to production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical component design or manufacturing.
- 3+ years of experience preferred in hardware systems design/production.
- Experience with design for manufacture and test for electromechanical hardware.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical hardware failures.
- Experience with PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
