Responsibilities
- Establish safety tools and procedures for production process planning and optimization.
- Perform risk assessments on industrial machinery and design functional safety systems.
- Serve as the Laser Safety Officer (LSO) for the department.
- Conduct PFMEAs to ensure safe manufacturing processes.
- Analyze tooling and ground support equipment for safety and load factors.
- Provide safety design guidance on high-pressure systems.
- Attend test readiness reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Knowledge of quality tools and process safety management methods.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and software like MySQL, Python, and Minitab.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Hawthorne, CA.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
