Responsibilities
- Engineer automated manufacturing systems using knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems.
- Ensure successful delivery of processes to production by applying mechanical, process, materials science, and automation controls.
- Model mechanical assemblies and fluid routing using CAD software.
- Create and release manufacturing drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Specify components for purchase and act as a technical point of contact for vendors.
- Drive system integration and activation schedules to meet deadlines.
- Write procedures for manufacturing operations and preventative maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, industrial, chemical, or material manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated mechanical systems.
- Expertise in manufacturing systems design and continuous improvement.
- Experience with CAD software and mechanical drafting.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems.
- Strong communication skills for technical concepts.
