Responsibilities
- Engineer automated manufacturing systems using mechanical and fluid systems knowledge.
- Model mechanical assemblies and fluid routing using CAD software.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Specify components for purchase and ensure vendor deliverables meet requirements.
- Drive system integration and activation schedules.
- Write procedures for manufacturing operations and system activation.
- Support design and implementation of control systems for heat shield material production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, materials, or manufacturing engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, industrial, chemical, or material manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated mechanical systems.
- Expertise in design, build, operation, and improvement of manufacturing systems.
- Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS).
- Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drafting.
- Ability to pass a background check and willingness to travel.
