Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Own the new product introduction (NPI) process and qualifications at suppliers.
- Drive continuous process improvements and statistical process control (SPC).
- Review product nonconformance's and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Lead containment activities on assigned parts with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Familiarity with machining operations and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of inspection systems and supplier quality processes.
- Understanding of statistical techniques and quality systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel applications.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
