Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts, solving emergent challenges at suppliers.
- Review issues on assigned parts and implement changes to resolve root causes.
- Create and manage issue tickets, collaborating with engineering to address quality concerns.
- Familiarize with assigned parts and processes to manage supply chain defects effectively.
- Work with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews for manufacturability.
- Own the new product introduction (NPI) process for new or re-sourced parts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or inspection of mechanical products.
- Experience with machining and ancillary operations.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Ability to pass Air Force background check and travel as required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for required authorizations.
