Responsibilities
- Get hands-on with technicians to integrate propulsion, avionics, and structural components.
- Execute design, build, qualification, and acceptance testing of subassemblies and tooling.
- Design the new Starship production line to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop a deep understanding of vehicle structures and integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback for corrections.
- Interface with various engineering teams and production leadership to ensure timely delivery of hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (internship and school projects included).
- Experience in building complex structures and systems.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical topics.
- Proven ability to deliver significant outcomes in engineering projects.
- Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Physical dexterity for working in tight spaces and handling flight hardware.
