Responsibilities
- Get hands-on alongside technicians, specialists, and welders to integrate propulsion, avionics, and structural components.
- Execute design, build, qualification, and acceptance testing of subassemblies, systems, and tooling.
- Design the new Starship production line to enhance build and integration efficiency.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle structures, avionics, and propulsion architecture.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback for corrections.
- Interface with engineering teams and production leadership to ensure timely delivery of test-ready hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (internships and school projects qualify).
- Experience and passion for building and tinkering with complex systems.
- Proven ability to communicate complex topics effectively.
- Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Proven experience with building metallic structures, ideally stainless steel.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in tight quarters.
