Responsibilities
- Develop robust and high-quality processes for manufacturing civilian-facing flight hardware.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to efficiently build, test, and certify parts for airframes.
- Design and procure tooling and fixturing to improve assembly ease and increase yield.
- Collaborate with integration & test engineers to streamline assembly screening processes.
- Lead prototype builds for new airframes, ensuring production milestones are met.
- Work with consumer hardware teams to ensure timely production of aviation-use parts.
- Eliminate manufacturing defects and investigate root causes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
- Experience with developing high-rate production processes and factory optimization.
- Understanding of FAA systems and processes related to aviation hardware.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, building, and testing hardware.
- Expertise in transitioning products from prototype manufacturing to volume production.
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
