Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes.
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team for design for manufacturability.
- Lead prototype builds to meet production development milestones.
- Ensure manufacturing systems meet high volume, cost, and quality targets.
- Lead facilities development, layout, headcount, and material flow definition.
- Identify tooling and hardware requirements for production processes.
- Identify automation opportunities and evaluate ROI for each.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high-volume commercial or automotive manufacturing.
- Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Ability to design tooling for high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience implementing automation into production processes.
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and MES systems.
