Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design, build, and reliability engineers to ensure efficient part production.
- Develop and revise production processes, procedures, and tooling.
- Drive design for manufacturing and assembly in new product development.
- Facilitate production of composites structures while reducing costs.
- Resolve manufacturing defects through investigation and testing.
- Support design improvements during product development.
- Work on the production floor, engaging with hardware directly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on composites experience (internships and projects included).
- Preferred: 3+ years of professional composites or final integration experience.
- Experience with avionics or pneumatic systems in aerospace structures.
- Advanced composites manufacturing experience, including out-of-autoclave prepreg systems.
- Proficiency with NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter CAD and PDM systems.
- Experience in transitioning products from prototype to volume production.
