Responsibilities
- Drive projects to improve printer platform robustness and repeatability.
- Collaborate with a team on the design and testing of additive manufacturing processes.
- Implement process improvements across the additive manufacturing workflow.
- Work with design teams to optimize features for additive manufacturing.
- Generate and optimize build files for high-quality part production.
- Collaborate with materials engineers to develop optimal print parameters.
- Document best practices for new equipment and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
- Master’s degree in aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Experience with additive manufacturing machines and parameter development.
- Knowledge of aerospace design and test specifications.
- Proficiency in engineering principles related to materials and flow.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
