Responsibilities
- Define, develop, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies for critical production equipment.
- Own complex equipment improvement projects to maximize availability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures.
- Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures through root cause analysis and other methodologies.
- Support hands-on repairs of mechanical, electrical, fluid, pneumatic, and control system failures.
- Drive improvements to work instructions and processes based on technician feedback.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to enhance design for maintainability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 6+ months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with MRP, ERP, and CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
