Responsibilities
- Work with analysts and design teams to meet tower design and manufacturing process requirements.
- Develop production procedures and manage the transition from development to production.
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling.
- Execute design for manufacturability changes to improve production efficiency.
- Create original CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
- Lead on-site design engineering for efficient build of parts and assemblies.
- Create and maintain build schedules.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Hands-on project experience with mechanical systems.
- 2+ years of manufacturing design experience.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with large steel structure construction and pressurized systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software, particularly Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
