Responsibilities
- Work closely with analysts and design teams to meet tower design and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop production procedures and manage the transition of parts from development to production.
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling.
- Execute design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency.
- Create original CAD models and prints for components.
- Lead on-site design engineering for efficient build processes.
- Maintain build schedules and resolve manufacturing discrepancies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Hands-on project experience with mechanical systems.
- 2+ years of manufacturing design experience.
- Experience with GD&T concepts and large steel structure construction.
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at elevated heights.
