Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on failure analysis to identify and correct production, test, and on-orbit failures.
- Develop and implement production processes for current and next-gen hardware to ensure quality and throughput.
- Create data analysis programs to track production yield and failure rates.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is met and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Collaborate with production to reduce in-process inspections and maintain inspection plans.
- Define Quality Management System requirements for traceability and non-conformance.
- Establish reliability testing strategies to monitor manufacturing process health.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 2+ years in a design or manufacturing engineering role.
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with complex mechanical/structural components from design to production.
- Proficiency in programming and automation/scripting languages.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
