Responsibilities
- Partner with electrical design and manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability.
- Conduct PCBA test failure investigations and perform root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and complexity removal in designs.
- Monitor product yield rates and drive corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Provide guidance on quarantining and rework activities for non-conforming products.
- Challenge requirements to streamline acceptance testing for flight hardware.
- Collaborate with integrated product teams to drive improvements in reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, or engineering physics.
- 1+ years of experience with digital or mixed-signal designs.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, reliability, and/or design engineering role.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience with electrical hardware failures.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles and Six Sigma.
- Ability to work extended hours and onsite as needed.
