Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for Raptor product line, focusing on aerospace components.
- Monitor and mitigate costs of parts while leveraging commercial relationships.
- Ensure manufacturing capacity and quality yield align with production demands.
- Guide procurement staff on design for manufacturability and cost reduction.
- Conduct supplier analysis for sourcing decisions and risk assessments.
- Visit suppliers to assess technical capabilities for new product development.
- Develop cost models and educate junior team members on supplier management.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree with 4+ years or bachelor's with 6+ years in engineering or supply chain management.
- Experience with CNC machined parts, forgings, and raw materials.
- Proven success in managing large contracts and dynamic supply chains.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and quality documents.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented and able to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Must be able to travel and work extended hours as needed.
