Facilities Engineer, MEP

The Facilities Engineer, MEP at SpaceX is responsible for designing, building, activating, and maintaining advanced manufacturing facilities, focusing on infrastructure projects and ongoing operations.

• Lead internal project teams and coordinate with engineers and contractors on MEP engineering processes.
• Provide technical engineering support to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Verify maintenance completion and coordinate repair and maintenance efforts for various facility systems.
• Manage design, development, and documentation for aerospace and industrial projects.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time with multiple parties.
• Prepare and coordinate capital expenditure processes for site projects.
• Respond to facility emergencies and manage readiness procedures for environmental threats.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in MEP building systems design or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or engineering design software.
• Experience managing aerospace or heavy industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC operation and design principles.
• Familiarity with electrical and power distribution systems.
• Ability to work in high-stress environments with acute attention to detail.
