Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and/or design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing equipment and documentation systems.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and conduct root cause analysis of failures.
- Drive improvements in designs by analyzing data collected both on-orbit and in the lab.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship acceptable).
- Strong understanding of programming languages, particularly Python and C/C++.
- Experience analyzing circuits and developing functional test plans.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques for product verification.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a highly cross-functional role.
