Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select hardware and/or design custom PCBAs for testing.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and data collection.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures.
- Drive improvements by analyzing data from both on-orbit and lab environments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, especially Python and C/C++.
- Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Experience in environmental testing methods.
