Responsibilities
- Cradle-to-grave project ownership including design reviews and equipment procurement.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to gather and challenge requirements.
- Provide engineering support for design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with electricians and utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs and installations with applicable codes.
- Ensure proper equipment interfaces with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct code reviews and analyses utilizing various electrical codes and standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience with power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
