Responsibilities
- Cradle-to-grave project ownership through design reviews and project decision justification.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to provide detailed electrical design and specifications.
- Support the design, operation, and troubleshooting of Starship Stage 0 electrical components and systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with electricians and local utilities.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs and installations with applicable codes and regulations.
- Verify equipment interfaces with other mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct code reviews and analysis using various NFPA standards and IBC.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and generators.
- Preferred 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Knowledge of medium voltage distribution and control panel design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
