Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, develop, and test highly reliable electronics for satellite communication.
- Drive electrical architecture, specification, component selection, circuit board design, implementation, verification, board bring-up, and debugging.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and production test teams.
- Ensure designs are viable through cross-disciplinary teamwork and system-level thinking.
- Explore solutions for previously unsolved or unknown problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee hardware through all aspects of its life cycle, from design to testing.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in rapidly designing and delivering highly reliable electronic products.
- Experience designing hardware from concept through production, with emphasis on full life cycle development.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing mixed-signal circuit boards.
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics.
- Strong understanding of programming languages like Python and C/C++.
- Ability to work in a demanding start-up atmosphere and in a cross-functional role.
