Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for equipment installation.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
- Ensure electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes and regulations.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance activities with local utilities.
- Ensure equipment interfaces properly with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform code review and analysis utilizing NFPA codes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with power distribution systems, switchgears, and generators.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments.
- Must pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
