Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specification for various systems including power distribution and lighting.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper interface of electrical systems with mechanical systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Provide code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with power distribution systems, switchgears, and generators.
- Preferred: 3+ years in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and O&M manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and medium voltage distribution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks.
