Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for electrical design and specification.
- Support troubleshooting of existing electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct load flow analysis and electrical equipment evaluation.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with power distribution systems and switchgears.
- Ability to read power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and industrial pumps.
- Previous experience as an electrician.
- Knowledge of medium voltage distribution and control panel design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
