Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specification for installation of power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
- Ensure equipment interfaces properly with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance activities with local electrical utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance of all electrical designs and installations with applicable codes and regulations.
- Provide code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with power distribution systems, switchgears, and generators.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Previous experience as an electrician.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to pass Air Force background check and work in extreme outdoor environments.
