Responsibilities
- Design detailed electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, controls, and emergency generators.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of equipment with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Conduct code reviews and analysis using relevant standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Proficiency in reading power and control schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and controls in MODBUS communication.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
