Responsibilities
- Design new hardware and modify existing hardware to enhance reliability and manufacturability.
- Take ownership of avionics hardware for flight across all product life cycle stages.
- Drive improvements in electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct root cause investigations for off-nominal unit behavior.
- Provide engineering justification to resolve production issues.
- Design test setups and conduct hardware validation through testing.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve problems creatively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in electronics hardware design (including academic projects and internships).
- 1+ years of experience with electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Knowledge of digital communications interfaces and common circuit blocks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
