Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supplier Development Engineers on SMT process requirements.
- Advocate for consolidation of SMT assembly requirements.
- Review PCBs before release to address manufacturing issues.
- Identify trends for optimizing product output and quality enhancements.
- Develop test vehicles to validate new processes.
- Drive corrective actions based on manufacturing defects and yield issues.
- Conduct experiments and implement process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in SMT processing or microelectronics packaging.
- Experience with reliability modeling of solder joints.
- Familiarity with automated PCB review software.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and methods.
- Scripting and data analysis experience (Python, Excel, Matlab).
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
