Responsibilities
- Design and develop next-generation launch vehicles, launch pads, and production lines.
- Perform hand calculations and FEA to assess and optimize designs.
- Iterate on manufacturing processes and development testing in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integration with Starship systems.
- Own impactful business outcomes and experience rapid personal and professional growth.
- Engage in building high-performance flight hardware and a high-volume rocket production line.
- Contribute to the transition from hardware building to flying reusable rockets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of mechanical and/or fluids engineering experience.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform trade studies and make recommendations using engineering fundamentals.
- Experience in a fast-paced engineering organization.
- Demonstrated success in competitive academic environments.
- Willingness to work extended hours and relocate to Starbase, TX.
